# Default payment providers

Is there a safe way to remove the default payment providers (e.g. Custom1 - Custom10) from a litium system, without having to mess about in the database?

We want to be able to ask litium for the available payment providers without having to filter out the default providers that are not being used.

Litium version: 6

The method that is returning the payment method for a payment provider is executing in run time and is not dependent on the information in database.
