# Pointer to person or organization

When using pointers to entity type organization or person grapqhl will only resolve the entitySystemId and not the full items as it does for entity type page and product, etc.  
Is there a specific reason for just using Pointer type for these entities or just a missing implementation of the specific pointer types, like PointerPageItem or PointerProductItem?

When the pointer type was created in the GQL the permission for fields was not in place and we don’t want to expose everything without correct user permission.
