# RequestModel null in Api

Im trying to access the RequestModel in RequestModelAccessor in my webapi but it doesn’t seem to set, as i understand it SetupWebApi in WebApiConfig should take care of this but that doesn’t seem to run either.

Litium version: 7.0.0

You need to send the ‘litium-request-context’ in the request header so the server can detect the Request context. The value of ‘litium-request-context’ header should be an instance of SiteSettingViewModel
