How do you get or set the unit of measurement for a variant?

Litium version: 6.2.2

In Litium 5 the Unit of measurement was placed on the Inventory Item so to add an unit of measurement you need to add an inventory item and on that instance you can set the unit of measurement.

From Litium 7.2 (Release date: TBD) this have been refactored and will be as a property directly on the variant.
