Mass delete media folder

I want to remove all images in one folder >20k with multiple subfolders (All images connected to products) but when I click remove folder (top folder of the products) I get the message “Mappen tas bort. Om det är ett stort antal undermappar eller filer så kan det ta en stund. Borttagningen fortsätter i bakgrunden, och du kan lugnt jobba vidare.” But it looks like we get a timeout after some minutes.

What is the error message for your timeout? You will find that in the litium.log file.
