Adding own custom administration settings page

Hey! I’m trying to figure out how to add a custom admin settings page. I found this old documentation on how to do it : https://docs.litium.com/documentation/previous-versions/litium-6/architecture/back-office/add-panels-to-extend-the but it seems like the Areas option no longer exists within System Settings:

I couldn’t find anything about this in the latest version documentation regarding this topic so my main question is if there a new way for adding custom admin pages and if so where can I find examples/documentation about it?

Areas was removed when moving away from panels using WebForms. Have a look here instead:
