No, I think it’s some kind of cookie that is set for a week?
The cart identifier is stored in a cookie at the client with name LitiumShoppingCart. Litium is setting the cookie time to 1 week.
To change the time that the cookie should be persisted you can in any page reset the cookie with this name but with a new expiration time.
