Bulk publish all pages on all channels

Is there a way to automatically publish every page in the whole website to all channels tied to that website? We are currently consolidating 6 sites into 2 and there are gazillion of pages to manually publish. It would be better if this could be done automatically. It should of course be possible with both SQL and programatically but maybe some has already done this and is willing to share?
