Hi, Is it possbile to have different product descriptions per Channel? Or do I need to add a custom field?
Is so is it possible for this field to use the same field id as the description or is this reserved?

The fields are stored per language so if you have two different channels with the same language and should have different descriptions you need to have two different fields where you on the public page select the correct field to display for the user.
