We’re doing som price imports through standard product import. As I can see wee need to include both ArticleNo and VariantOf to be able to do that.
Is there any way through the standard API to do imports that only include ArticleNo and the price?

Unfortunately this is not possible. You always need baseArticle-number to do a import. If variantOf is not included Litium import assume that you are importing a baseproduct so it will create new baseproducts with the provided articlenumber and price will be ignored
